CO-OPERATION

The mutual affirmation of rights- “In things essential Unity, in non-essentials, fullest liberty” leaves the respective orders with full independent self-government and their own rules and customs, while they unite on the basis of “Justice, Philanthropy, Brotherly love, Unity,Peace and Concord”; with the aim of spreading these ideals throughout the world.

From the beginning, in 1913, each congress has endeavoured to find a means whereby brethren of one order may visit lodges of affiliated orders. The A.O.D. has agreed that brethren of the A.O.D. travelling overseas can, on application to the A.O.D’s. Imp. Grand Secretary, use a travelling letter and the International password to visit lodges in Europe, America or Australia. Such a brother must have taken an oath of secrecy to cover all affiliated orders.
